This document provides current information about the 4-year General Psychiatry Residency program. There are two separate combined residency programs: a 5-year Psychiatry/Medicine program, and a 6-year Psychiatry/Neurology program. Although managed separately, this document also provides information of relevance to the psychiatry part of the curriculum of these programs as well as the benefits for residents in these programs. - Do not schedule clinic patients in your absence

- Maintain current credentialing documents:
• Maintain current S.C. Medical License • Must register to take Step 3 USMLE/COMLEX before the end of the PGY1 year & pass by the end of the PGY 2 year • ACLS and hospital compliance modules required for staff privileging • DEA/DHEC (Need DHEC certificate before applying for DEA - pay $125 at orientation)
