     J. Anthony Richey, M.S. 

  
SPEAKER BIO
 
John Anthony (Tony) Richey received dual degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Penn State University, and is currently a doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at Florida State University. He completed a fellowship at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) at Boston University, working jointly with the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to conduct neuroimaging research in the area of social anxiety.  Tony is completing his internship at MUSC and will be returning to MIT next year to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in psychiatric neuroimaging. 
  
  
  
  
      OBJECTIVES                                                                                                                                                               
         At the completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
          1) Better understand principles supporting neurocognitive interventions.
   2) Better understand the attention-anxiety interface.
   3) Consider future avenues for technology-based interventions aimed at modulating functional 
       neuroarchitecture of anxiety disorders.
