Media Relations Team

Philosophy

Within the MUSC Office of Public Relations, our media relations team values your role in making MUSC programs, people, procedures and research transparent and easily understood by numerous audiences. We know you have deadlines. We know how to reach the correct expert that you need for your story. We have our fingers on the pulse of what is new, advancing, or changing at MUSC. Most of all, we have an appreciation and understanding of the journalistic integrity that is so important to your job. The mission of the media relations team at MUSC is several-fold:

  • Responding to your requests as quickly as possible;
  • Providing you with accurate and correct information;
  • Protecting patients’ privacy if they so request;
  • Delivering relevant, exciting and new information

In accomplishing this mission we hope that you find working with our media relations team and affiliated staff to be an easy and productive experience. We are always open to suggestions of how we can contribute or distribute information in ways more suitable to individual needs or schedules. We look forward to working with you!
