MUSC has a wonderful story to tell, and
the Office of Public Relations is responsible for relating it
to the university's various publics. We do this in part by building
awareness of MUSC's programs, policies, opportunities, achievements
and its mission of serving all South Carolinians through education,
research and patient care.
Through the mass media, publications, video, correspondence
and other means, we disseminate information about the Medical
University throughout the Lowcountry, South Carolina and
the United States. Now, through the Internet, we can spread
the Medical University's achievements and opportunities
on a global scale.
If you're a journalist, we post news releases,
advisories and other information on a regular basis to help
you keep up with university events. We also will provide
biographical information on key university representatives.
Of course, if you need more information, let us know and
we will do our best to help you.
Our president, Dr. Ray Greenberg, believes we as a public
institution should do everything within our power to "preserve
and optimize human life in South Carolina and beyond." That
is a noble purpose, and an ambitious one. Through the links

for yourself the progress we're making to improve the lives
