We'd like to thank all of those that attended this year's PPRNet Network Meeting and helped make it our largest and most successful meeting ever.  PPRNet held its final Accelerating Translation of Research into Practice (ATRIP) network meeting at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Charleston, SC on Monday and Tuesday September 25-26, 2006.  During the two day meeting participants came from 36 practices with both clinicians and practice staff attending.

There were two major foci of this years meeting.  First were the presentations by the project staff of the findings from the ATRIP project.  The second foci of presentations were from PPRNet members describing their successful quality improvement approaches.  The meeting was an excellent time to learn more and to network with other members.

Ten PPRNet practices were awarded the  "Best Practice Award" for performance in the Top 10% of all practices in the ATRIP research project.  Eighteen PPRNet practices were awarded the "High Performance Award" in recognition of their performance in the Top 25% of all practices in the ATRIP project.  Congratulations to all of them!
