Orientation
programs for new employees are held every two weeks starting on
Monday. See the orientation schedule
for the next orientation date
Before attending
orientation, each new employee must undergo a health screening arranged
by the HR recruiter at MUSC Employee Health Services, 57 Bee Street.
To be admitted
to the orientation all employees must have completed all health
screening paperwork and must present a current, valid professional
license or registration if one is required for the position.
The Medical
Center Orientations are usually held in the 2 W Amphitheater in
the main hospital all day Monday. On Tuesday, a benefits orientation
is held, also usually at the 2W Amphitheater until lunch time.
On Tuesday afternoon,
the Pharmacy Department Orientation is held at the Rutledge Tower
Annex Conference Room #619.
On Wednesday
employees attend worksite orientation in the morning and complete
an age-specific compentance test in the afternoon.
Thursday orientation
consists of BLS training and Oacis computer training. There is no
official orientation on Friday. On the following Monday, all employees
must attend compliance and HIPPA training. |
