| The Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP)
is the student branch of the American Society of Health System
Pharmacists
(ASHP) and the South Carolina Society of Health-System
Pharmacists.
SSHP is the College of Pharmacy’s newest organization, with 1999-2000
being
its first official year. As an opportunity for professional
growth,
the chapter sponsors the annual Clinical Skills Competition and sends
the
winning team to the ASHP Mid-Year Clinical Meeting to represent the
MUSC
College of Pharmacy in the national competition. Members receive
career
and residency information, as well as the Journal of Health-System
Pharmacy
(AJHP). Membership in SSHP is open to all pharmacy students. |
