Dr. Goodwin was born in Birmingham, AL and lived there until she began college at Auburn University. There she completed her undergraduate course-work as well her PharmD. After finishing her PharmD in May of 2007, she completed a PGY1 residency at the University of Illinois Chicago. Now she is currently one of the Critical Care Specialty Residents here at MUSC. Medical ICU is currently where Dr. Goodwin sees herself practicing long term as a clinical faculty member associated with a college of pharmacy; however she is keeping an open mind as she progresses through the year. Dr. Goodwin’s goals for this year include further development of clinical and teaching skills, as well as contributing to the medical literature.
