Dr. Garcia is originally from Roanoke, VA.  She completed a PGY-1 residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Garcia is a PGY-2 Internal Medicine resident. Her professional areas of interest are cardiology, nephrology, and solid-organ transplant. She hopes this year will prepare her for a clinical position and eventually, a career in academia. Her personal interests include traveling and learning about different cultures, lifestyles, and food.
