Charges (2005 - 2009)
The Awards, Honors, and Scholarships Committee shall have the
responsibility
to:
- Determine the
recipients of the awards to be presented at the annual Hooding
ceremony, generally
by faculty vote. However, other methods may be appropriate based
upon
individual award specifications or circumstances.
- Obtain the
various awards to be presented at the annual Hooding ceremony and have
them suitably prepared for presentation.
- Organize the
annual Awards and Hooding ceremony for Pharm.D. candidates.
- Plan a reception
for the students and guests attending the annual Hooding ceremony.
- Determine the
recipients of the College of Pharmacy scholarships, to be awarded each
fall.
- Organize an
annual award reception for scholarship recipients and their donors.
- Assist in
preparation of articles on the award and scholarship recipients for the
Catalyst, Palmetto Pharmacist, or other publications.
- Prepare an annual
report and submit to the Dean’s office.
