Charges (2005 - 2009)
The
Assessment Committee shall have the responsibility to:
- Establish and
conduct periodic (at least annually) assessment of educational and
training programs based on the anticipated
outcomes/competencies of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program.
- Conduct
periodic surveys of current students, alumni, graduates, and employers
to assess
satisfaction with perceived adequacy of their preparation to enter
professional
practice.
- Provide
feedback and when deemed appropriate, recommendations to department(s),
department chair, or course coordinator(s), and the curriculum
committee regarding
the results of the periodic reviews of effectiveness.
- Serve as a
forum to the establishment of an institutional research function for
the college.
- Facilitate
information for self-study reports to ensure compliance with SACS and
ACPE requirements.
- Prepare an
annual report.
