Charges
(2005 - 2009)
The APT committee shall have the responsibility to:
- Evaluate all
faculty seeking
appointment, promotion and tenure in the MUSC COP.
- Evaluate all
adjunct faculty
seeking appointment and promotion in the MUSC COP.
- Assure annually
that the
MUSC COP is in compliance with the University Faculty Handbook Post
Tenure Review
process (6.3.4).
- Establish a
process to
insure that, on a 3-year cycle, a formal review of each faculty
members's
professional progress is completed with a summary of the final report
delivered
to each respective faculty member with a copy placed in their personnel
file.
This 3-year review is to be considered in addition to annual
performance review.
- Review and
provide recommendations
for revising the COP Guidelines for Promotion and Tenure and the
Guidelines
for Adjunct Pharmacy Faculty for Appointment and Promotion every three
years
or as necessary.
- Prepare an annual
report.

Meeting Times
Meetings
will be held at least monthly until the Committee deems otherwise.

Minutes
will be provided by one of the members.
