Transmitting Images from:
Nikon L2 System
Plug in the scope and camera controller box.
Plug the network cable into the network jack on the wall
Turn on the scope and then the camera control box. The power control switch for the camera control box is located on the right side of the DS-L2 controller box.
When the controlled is turned on the Power Indicator will turn green and the Nikon logo will appear on the screen. After a few seconds the image from the scope will appear on the screen.
Click with the right mouse button in the upper left corner of the screen to bring up the main menu.
Left Click on the setup button to bring up the main setup screen.
When the menu appears choose “Network Set….”
On the network setup screen in the Internal Server box, note the IP address (in the example below it is 128.023.025.023). This is the number you will need for the pathologist to review the images you are broadcasting.
Click "Ret to window" button on the top menu bar.
Focus the microscope on the image on the screen and drive the scope viewing the images on the screen. The pathologist on the other end will be able to view the transmitted images.
