Research Interests:

Cancer chemoprevention is a pharmacological intervention aimed to arrest or reverse the process of carcinogenesis and tumorigenesis and is recognized to be one of the most important strategies for fight against cancer. Main focus in my laboratory is to investigate the relationship between sphingolipid metabolites and colon cancer development and to find target molecules against colon carcinogenesis.

Fundings: This project is supported by SC COBRE Grant 1 P20 RR017677 and a grant from the Department of Defense.
