CASE A

This specimen is from a right knee aspirate from a 22 year old female. She complained of right knee and right shoulder pain and swelling, nausea, and vomiting., She had a thick vaginal discharge as well. Upon futher questioning, she acknowledged having a sexual relationship with a new boyfriend. The same organism(s) was/were isolated from a vaginal culture.
