Clinical Instructor, Trident Technical College Veterinary Nursing Program, Charleston, SC, September 2001 to present. Instruct students in the principles of surgical preparation of the patient and assisting in the operating room.

Self &endash; Employment, Mobile Veterinary Surgical Associates, Charleston, SC, April 2000 to present. Provide specialty surgical services as well as case management consultations to general practitioners located in the coastal South Carolina area. Provide continuing education seminars for regional and national Veterinary Medical Associations.

Staff Surgeon, Georgia Veterinary Specialists, Atlanta, GA, August 1999 to April 2000. Performed all types of soft tissue, orthopaedic, neurologic, and oncologic surgery in a large 24-hour care specialty hospital. Responsibilities included clinical instruction of interns as well as monthly continuing education seminars for veterinarians in the Atlanta area.

Small Animal Surgeon, Veterinary Specialists of the Southeast, Charleston, SC, July 1998 to August 1999. Assisted a group of specialists in creating a network of referral hospitals along the eastern U.S. Responsible for re-vitalizing a declining surgical practice in Savannah, GA and directed all aspects of beginning operations and developing a referral base in a newly established Pittsburgh, PA office.

Emergency and Critical Care Practitioner, Animal Emergency and Critical Care Service, Langhorne, PA, September 1994 to January 1998.

Part-time work in a high volume, emergency and critical care practice. Evaluated, stabilized, and directed treatments for patients with various medical and surgical emergencies. Cooperated with local veterinarians in providing intensive care to critical patients referred to the hospital for overnight and weekend monitoring.
