Patricia L. Moreira, MSc. - Curriculum Vitae

(Last updated: Juen 28, 2002)

Patricia is from São Paulo State in Brazil. She undergraduated in Biological Sciences at the State University of Campinas in 1998, when she was invited to continue her graduate studies at this University. She studied the development of new strategies in coating extracorporeal devices, which was completed in February 2001, when she received a Master of Cell Biology degree. She is now a current PhD student at the State University of Campinas and joined Dr. An's research group to abroad her skills and knowledge on bone ingrowth to orthopaedic prostheses, tissue engineering for the repair of bone and cartilage defects, and therapeutic embolization. In her spare time, she likes trekking and traveling.
