OEM Program |
Two symposia (1995 and 1996), sponsored by the MUSC EHAP and the OEM Program, were attended by national leaders in OEM and family medicine. The participants arrived at the consensus that primary care practitioners need to have a reliable and accessible OEM consultative resource if practitioners are to successfully incorporate OEM into their primary care practices. This prompted the faculty and staff of Division of Public Health and Public Service to expand its agricultural medicine consultative service to include OEM for the SCFPRP. The consultation service provided by the OEM Program is linked directly to the educational component of the program and is not intended as a service to compete with other agencies or providers. |
