1. CONSULTATION:

The Agromedicine and OEM Programs are available for medical consultation on request.

William M. Simpson, Jr., MD., will be available to assist you.

To receive consultation:

  • Telephone (843)792-2281 during business hours (8:30-5:00, M-F), or:
  • Telephone (843)696-4375 during non-business hours, or:
  • FAX your request for consultation to (843)792-4702 during or after business hours. Please print the attached form to make your fax request. (If possible, include in your FAX a copy of the current history from the patient's chart), or:
  • Fill out the on-line form.  This form will be emailed to William Simpson, or:
  • Email your request for consultation to: William Simpson simpsowm@musc.edu)

When faxing or emailing consultation requests, please be sure to include your telephone number and the hours you can be reached. The program will confirm with your office our receipt of the fax or email.

2. CASE RESEARCH SUPPORT:

If you would like current scientific literature on a specific agricultural or occupational/environmental medicine illness or injury, the program has a specialized reference library and a computerized journal article reference file that can be of assistance to you. Data from these and other sources will be retrieved in response to your request for information. Response time to requests for information will vary depending upon the number of sources that must be accessed, however all requests will be completed as quickly as possible. The retrieved information will mailed to the requester.
