Research

In addition to the case-by-case research performed through public service consultations, the AP also performs research in agricultural medicine. Examples of research activities over the years include epidemiologic studies on pesticide poisoning, tick-borne diseases, farmer mortality patterns, protective clothing for pesticide exposure, noise induced hearing loss in rural children and farm family stress. Research results are incorporated into the educational programs and are shared with medical and agricultural colleagues. Published research results include:
