Web Shared Interest Group
 The
Web Shared Interest Group will review and recommend enhancements,
technologies, strategies, methods, products, and standards for web
presence across MUSC.
The group's goals are to:
- Identify the various web initiatives and stakeholders throughout MUSC
- Develop standards for MUSC web sites that improve and enhance MUSC's web presence
- Assess current use of the web by both internal and external users
- Facilitate and establish guidelines for web development and deployment
It expects to deliver to the IMC a strategy that:
- Improves and enhances the functionality and information delivered via the web
- Identifies business processes that, if made web-based, would result in significant cost savings to the enterprise
- Establishes and standardizes a process designed to improve and increase web delivery of information and business processes
- Leverages existing web resources across the enterprise, which could
better be utilized to support the unique mission of the various
stakeholders
