Infrastructure
Responsibilities and Areas of Oversight
- Enterprise level service support function
- Lead and manage the design, development, implementation,
and ongoing support of infrastructural related systems at MUSC,
including but not limited to:
- Data and voice communications (wired and wireless)
- Network management
- System administration for core services, such as electronic
mail and user accounts
- Data center operations
- Support Desk
- Workstation support services
- Security audits, monitoring, and forensic reporting
- Technical reviews
- Work with CIO and other directors in OCIO to ensure that strategic
missions of the university are accomplished, aligning resources
to meet shared goals of MUSC
- Maintain currency on new technologies, trends, and issues and
serve as a resource and technical consultant to all of the organizational
entities across MUSC
