Online Information

Online learning is a convenient way to earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. It does mean a commitment on your part in regards to time. You also need to be self disciplined and have basic computer competencies. It will be important to be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, powerpoint and email. You will be required to come to Charleston for orientation beginning your first semester and then again for graduation.

The following web site will help you assess your readiness for online education: http://www.cod.edu/dept/CIL/CIL_Surv.htm

The program has full and part-time options. The full time option consists of 3 semesters of full time study. The part-time option is developed on an individual basis with a faculty advisor. The program must be completed in 5 years from your start date.

Please check the Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to some common questions. If you still have questions, please contact the College of Nursing.
