Bonham to Serve as WOCN President  On June 10, Phyllis Bonham will become president of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCN) Society at the annual WOCN Conference in St. Louis, MO.
Founded in 1968, the WOCN is a professional, international nursing society of more than 4,200 health care professionals who are experts in the care of patients with wound, ostomy and incontinence. The organization supports its members by promoting educational, clinical and research opportunities to advance the practice and guide the delivery of expert health care. Phyllis will serve as president for the next two years. Congratulation, Phyllis! |

About the College
Effective November 1, Teresa Kelechi will assume the role of Department Chair. Employed at MUSC for 22 years, Teresa joined the College of Nursing faculty in 2001. She is a board certified gerontological clinical nurse specialist and a certified wound care nurse. Teresa takes over the reins of Department Chair from Elizabeth Erkel who will retire at the end of the year.
