PDA Requirements for Nursing Students

All graduate students are required to purchase a personal digital assistant (PDA) prior to beginning clinical coursework. Purchase of a PDA by undergraduate students is optional but suggested.

• PALM OS 5.0 or greater
• Color screen
• 16 MB or greater of Internal Memory
• 64 MB or greater of combined memory (internal + memory card/stick)
• Expansion slot for memory card/stick
• Wireless network card - 802.11b (built-in or expansion card) OPTIONAL

Pocket PC Hardware Recommendations

• Windows Mobile 2003 OS
• 32 MB or greater of Internal Memory
• 64 MB or greater of combined memory (internal + memory card/stick)
• Wireless network card - 802.11b (built-in or expansion card) OPTIONAL
