Announcements Very few physical upgrades have been made to the Franklin C. Fetter's Johns Island site since its inception in 1975. A new coat of paint, baseboards, removal of mold, landscaping and proper lighting are just a few of the necessary upgrades. The high cost of health care, coupled with meager patient revenues and insufficient government funding leaves no available funds for such capital renovations. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Melissa Cox, Ricky Patel, and Maria Toler some of these essential improvements have been made. The Hispanic Health Initiatives holds a strong partnership with FCF Johns Island site - a community health center that serves as a safety net provider on Johns Island. Open to all, regardless of income, this community health center plays a vital role in the health of the community. |
