Diversity at the College of Nursing The mission of the MUSC Office of Student Diversity is to promote an inclusive environment for all students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, age ability or socio-economic status. The College of Nursing works closely with the Medical University of South Carolina Office of Student Diversity to promote an inclusive environment that fosters intellectual excellence and the true integration of a diverse student body into all aspects of academic life. Diversity is part of the vision, mission, core values, and philosophy at the College of Nursing. The core values are shared and endorsed by the faculty and part of the Strategic Plan. To this end, the College of Nursing: - Recruits, retains, and graduates students from diverse backgrounds in all programs with attention to transition across programs
