Is there really a simple solution to the complex financial problem
you face?
Yes! It’s the 10 percent solution. It has three simple steps:
- Save at least 10 percent of your income for your future. Saving at least 10 percent over time is a great key to personal financial success.
- Give away at least 10 percent of your income. This not only helps the world, it empowers you to reach new levels of success and satisfaction, for when you
give, you receive more in return than you give.
- Learn to live and work in partnership with all. Live and work in partnership
with yourself and with family, friends, colleagues, nature, and spirit.
When you take these three steps, you find that your life greatly
improves.
Turning Point
In my life, I’ve gone from rags to riches. On my 30th birthday,
I woke up in a state of shock. I was a poverty case. Worse, I had no goals or
direction in my life. That day, I imagined my ideal scene five years in the future
and made a list of goals. I started affirming every morning that those goals were
being reached in an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way, in
its own perfect time, for the highest good of all.
Affirming my goals has proven to be very powerful, along with defining
and adhering to my core beliefs. Through prayer, I have discovered the truth:
“Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find.” I believe that
within every adversity there is an equal or greater benefit and opportunity.
Will saving 10 percent really bring you financial security? It certainly
helps. And doing it opens you up to more opportunities to create lasting wealth
and financial security. You not only receive back more than you give, you become
more expansive, more aware of your opportunities and your personal power. When
you give money, you often receive greater sums of money from unexpected sources.
Everything you do in life is in relation to others, to nature, and
to spirit. You can look at all your relationships in terms of whether there is
partnership, based on respect and mutual caring, or domination based on fear and
control. The more you work in partnership with others, the more harmony and success
you have. The more you try to dominate, the more you experience conflict.
Henry Ford noted: “If you believe you can, or if you believe
you can’t, you’re right.” Both beliefs are equally valid and
true. Your beliefs may not be true in themselves, but they tend to become true
in your experience if you believe them to be true. Become aware of your core beliefs.
Once you discover a belief, you can change it into something more expansive and
positive.
For example, in my early 30s I believed that life was a struggle
and that it was hard to make money. However, over the next few years, I was able
to change that core belief. Now I believe that I live in an abundant world where
I do what I love and love what I do.
Only by doing what you love to do can you find fulfillment and happiness.
Keep doing what you love, and you’ll find your own unique way to succeed.
When you make a clear goal and affirm that goal, the creative forces
of the universe mysteriously and powerfully support you, and turn your wishes
into your reality. PE
