Research:

Pesticide effects on vertebrate and invertebrate aquatic animal enzyme systems; toxology of insecticides, metals, and PAH's in crustaceans and fish; sediment toxicity tests utilizing benthic and pelagic aquatic animals. My laboratory investigates pesticide effects on vertebrate and invertebrate aquatic animal enzyme systems. We perform aquatic and sediment bioassays of pesticides, metals, and PAHs in crustaceans and fish. In addition, we study the effect of non-point source runoff effects on estuarine ecosystems.
