The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, a 2.5 mile span, connects Charleston to Mount Pleasant over the Cooper River. If you have lived in Charleston during the past 5 years, you will recall the excitement of watching the bridge under construction and the coming down of the old Grace Bridge. The bridge has become a symbol of our whole community. Looking out into the harbor gives you a new perspective on where you live.

Join The Lean Team to walk across our bridge. We gather at 8 am, Saturday mornings, at the gravel parking lot just past the Cigar Factory on East Bay and Cooper in Charleston. The nearest GPS address is 12 Cooper St. Charleston, SC 29403. Each week we record the miles walked by all of our participants. Join the fun, help our collective miles grow, and experience health one step at a time! As you walk with The Lean Team you encourage and are encouraged as you build relationships. It is a powerful and unique experience!
Join us every Saturday morning at 8 on the Charleston side of the bridge to walk. BRIDGE MILES: Lean Team walks 22,753 miles.
It’s summertime on the bridge. Twenty-Two counting those who emailed in walked 120 miles this week and helped us break 22,000 miles! Almost around the world…hmmmm. Seven new walkers joined in the fun and Georgia French gave us a sample of her “Boot Camp” routine. MJ had a birthday and a grand nephew! Join us each Saturday at 8am as we walk, talk, workout and encourage one another. Dave says we need more men. Hope to see you out there. East Bay and Cooper Street on the Charleston side of the bridge.
