Notes:

•  Macintosh OS: Some campus computers, including those in the Library's Informatics Labs and Classrooms, will continue to run Mac OS 9.2.

•  Browsers: WebCT students and developers can use Mozilla 1.4, based on preliminary testing. However, we recommend that WebCT course developers also maintain a WebCT-supported browser (see http://www.webct.com/exchange/viewpage?name=exchange_browser_tuneup). Internet Explorer (IE) and Netscape have been removed from the list of standard software, but this does not preclude them from being installed on individual or program computers, as need dictates.
Issues: IE has a bug when downloading remote files; Netscape requires registration of installs; recent versions of Netscape don't support roaming, a problem for students and WebCT users.
