Microsoft Licensing Overview
Information on the Ultimate Steal Promotion for Students (Office 2007)Our Campus Agreement with Microsoft covers any computer (including laptops) owned by MUSC. If it is a personally owned computer used for MUSC business, then Work at Home Rights must be purchased at CompuSult.
Microsoft Campus Agreement
This agreement covers MUSC owned computers only. While not entirely inclusive, some software packages available via this agreement are:- Office Professional for Windows 2003: Access, Excel, InfoPath, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word.
- Office Professional for Windows 2007: Access, Excel, Groove, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word.
- Office 2004 for Mac Professional Edition: Entourage, Excel, MSN Messenger, PowerPoint, Word.
- Office 2008 for Mac: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage, Microsoft Server Exchange Support, Automator Actions for Workflows in Microsoft Office.
- Windows Operating System Upgrades.
- Various Microsoft Volume Licensing Applications (MVLA): Microsoft Office Family, Microsoft Dynamics (Business Solutions), Products for Macintosh, Windows Client: Business, Server Applications, Windows Servers, Developer Tools, Microsoft TechNet Plus, MSDN Applications.
- Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 for Windows, and Microsoft 2008 for Macintosh are available via the MUSC Software Download site at:

All Other Microsoft Packages
All other Microsoft software is covered by the State of South Carolina Select Contract Agreement Number 9557260. Dell is our Select 6 Agreement vendor. You can use your department’s P-card to purchase software from the Dell P-card Purchases site.
Work At Home Registration Agreement
Faculty and Staff can go to Compusult Campus Store and purchase Microsoft Office software for $19.95. You can only purchase one CD and must come in with your MUSC Identification Badge. You will have to sign a Work at Home Registration Agreement that outlines the requirements you are expected to follow. Students are not allowed to purchase under this agreement.
