Semantic Searching
Simply put, semantic searching is searching by concept instead of keyword.
In this example, we've created a semantic corpus [dictionary.com] of all of the content publically available on MUSC's extranet. The URL list was heavily edited before submission. The producted creates a corpus of all of the content from these URLs. This content is analyzed and the semantic relationships defined.
You can search this corpus by keyword and the results list the weight (higher is better) and URL for your term.
