Checking E-mail Quotas on the Exchange Server

- At the top of the left-side menu, click once on the Exchange icon to select it
- Control-click (right-click) the Exchange icon
- Click Folder Properties
- Click Storage
You should see all folders contained in your online Exchange account. You can sort these folders by Size. Since almost all quotas are 200 mb., if Total size (with subfolders): is near 200000, you are near quota. Archive older files to another location (such as On My Computer) then delete those in the online folders.
Apple Mail
- Under Mailboxes on the left-side menu, twist open Inbox
- Select then control-click your Exchange account
- Select Get Account Info
- Select (if it isn't already visible) Quota Limits
You should see all folders contained in your online Exchange account. You can sort these folders by Size. Currently Used: is given in mb, not in kilobytes as in Entourage. There is a "Capacity:" line, but it does not show the 200 mb. limit and reads: This account doesn't support quotas. if Currently Used: : is near 200 mb, you are near quota. Archive older files to another location on your hard drive, then delete those messages from the online mail folders.
