Support Desk:The Support Desk, can be reached at 792-9700. This team fields all technology-related questions. The staff is trained to handle questions and problems which require a quick response. If they can't immediately answer your question or resolve the problem, they will find someone who can assist you personally. You can also submit a non-emergency Support Desk request online.
The primary hours for the Support Desk are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. Because MUSC is really a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week enterprise, however, support is available at all times, through Operations (see below).
Operations:For crucial technology, the Systems Operations staff constantly monitors the many supported networks and systems interfaces. Because it is an around-the-clock activity, Systems Operations also serves as the Support Desk outside of primary hours and during weekends and holidays. If necessary, this group will pass requests for help to the appropriate support team for either immediate action or for attention during primary hours. They can be reached by calling the Help Desk: 792-9700.
