The Field Engineering Services Team is responsible for the installation, maintenance and service of server-managed computers on LYNX, standalone PCs and Macintosh computers, printers and peripherals throughout the hospital and university. FES supports the mission of MUSC and its core focus on education, patient care and research. FES functions within the organizational structure of OCIO which reports to the Chief Information Officer, Dr. Frank Clark.
Field Engineers provide computer service to all Academic, Clinical and Research departments at MUSC that do not have dedicated IT staff.
