Use the following program if you would like to create a System Sweeper USB stick using the .iso above:

protects against malware that utilize rootkits to avoid detection.

 

1.Install the .iso on a DVD or CD. For XP you must use an application like Roxio.

If you would like a disk to be sent to you via campus mail, please call

Clay Taylor at 2-0680 or Lisa Pecsuk at 2-5422..

2. Boot to the CD/DVD. You should see the following screen:

3. If you are connected to the network, click Yes. If you are not connected to the network, click No.

4. Click NO to decline remapping the Drive Letters.

5. Click Next.

6. *IMPORTANT* Click the Radio button next to "Use recovery tools". Hit Next.

7. Click the link to Microsoft Diagnostic and Recovery Toolset.

8. Click on Standalone System Sweeper.

9. Click the little arrow on the far right end of the menu bar.

10. Select "Check for Updates".

11. Choose the type of definition update you would like to do. Manual install (Browse) will let you

select the updates file from a location that you specify. "Download" will download the definitions

from the internet (Internet Connection Required).

12. Click "Start Full Scan".

13. You will then get a progress bar as System Sweeper scans your Computer.
