Return Policy

The return policies for credit for the different vendors are as follows:

Dell - an unwanted item can be returned within 30 days from deliver to the Computer Connection. The item must be in the original shipping box and have a copy of the IIT or delivery ticket attached.

Apple - all sales are final and they accept returns only under certain circumstances. The item should be in the original package and have a copy of the IIT or delivery ticket attached. Please contact the Computer Connection for coordination.

Lenovo - returns for credit are accepted up to 21-days from invoice date. Items are to be in the original package and have a copy of the IIT or delivery ticket attached. Please contact the Computer Connection for coordination.

Defective Items

When an item is found to be defective within 72 hours after it has been removed from the box, it will be repaired or replaced at the customer's discretion. Before an item (desktop, monitor, laptop, or printer) is accepted as defective, an evaluation by an IS Field Engineer is required. Call the Help Desk at 792-9700 and log a request. The FE will determine if a repair can be made or if a return/exchange is necessary. Most items can be repaired by our factory authorized technicians within 48 hours and your system will still be under a complete factory warranty.

Equipment Failure

If you experience computer, monitor, laptop, or printer failure, please call the Help Desk at 792-9700.  They will obtain information regarding the failure and route your call to an IS Field Engineer. Please give as much information as you can about your problem (such as a contact name and number so that a technician can contact you during the day). Normally a technician will call you within one business hour of the call being placed. The OCIO-IS Field Engineers are all factory trained and can provide warranty work.
