The Computer Connection was established in 1993 by MUSC Procurement as a one-stop shopping center for computer and computer-related purchases. The Computer Connection as an extension of Procurement, must abide by the guidelines set down by Procurement and work within the frame work of the South Carolina state contract. With educational, state contract discounts and volume purchases the Computer Connection is able to offer IT equipment at a good price point.The Computer Connection currently works directly with Apple, Dell and Lenovo. All products are ordered directly from the manufacturer. The Computer Connection works closely with Information Services on recommended PC and printer standards supported by IS. The channels of communication between vendor and the IS support staff allow the Computer Connection to assist MUSC with making informed and supported PC and printer purchasing decisions.
The Computer Connection is located at 25 Ehrhardt Street, located a block from the Ashley River Tower.
