Recommended Printer Purchases
Dell sells a line of quality printers. These printers are recommended for purchase due to their multi-year warranty and the repair service available. The Field Engineering staff is vendor-certified to perform warranty repairs on Dell printers. Printer service is handled the same as Dell PC service. Also, Dell gives MUSC a 15% discount on the price of toners and the Computer Connection stocks toners for on-campus purchases.HP printers are recommended for some applications at MUSC. These printers ship with a 1-year on-site service warranty. Additional years' warranties are available and highly recommended. The Field Engineers are not HP certified, but there are HP repair shops located throughout the Charleston area.
