Recommended PC Purchases
It is recommended to purchase the Dell and Lenovo (IBM) PC bundles listed on the vendor pages:- They are supported LYNX platforms.
- They are tested and approved for use on the MUSC network.
- The field engineering staff can quickly configure, install and are certified to repair.
- There is only one part number to remember - no forgotten pieces or accessories.
- Quick delivery.
Recommended Printer Purchases
The full line of Dell and Hewlett-Packard black and white, color, and multifunction printers on the SC State Contract are available through the Computer Connection. We highly recommend purchasing at least a 3-year warranty with all printer purchases. The Computer Connection staff works closely with the Sales Reps from both vendors to stay informed of the latest products and any special pricing deals available. Support for these printers is available through the MUSC Help Desk.Dell toner is offered through the Computer Connection at a 15% discount from the State cost. An IIT is required to purchase toner from the Computer Connection. Our high volume purchasing from Dell makes this discount possible.
HP toner is available through Office Max or Staples using your purchasing card. The State Contract for HP toner is pending as of 7/1/2010.
Circuit Requests
