Nursery Services

A nursery is available for children six weeks to six years old while members work out. Nursery service is limited to children of members and is not to be used while attending meetings or shopping.

Reservations are required as nursery space is limited. The maximum safety standard is set at eight children. Only parents or legal guardians of a child may make a reservation by calling 792-6417. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance, sickness being an exception. Failing to cancel nursery reservations three times within six months will result in suspension of nursery privileges for two weeks.

Members may utilize the nursery service up to six hours per week. Each individual session cannot be more than 2 hours. The appointment begins at the time you reserved, not the time you arrive or leave the nursery. Children and parents will not be accepted before their scheduled time and will not be permitted to stay after the reservation time has expired. Abuse of nursery time limits will result in suspension of nursery privileges for two weeks.

For your child's safety, children who are ill or may present a health or safety threat to other children may be denied nursery time on the sole discretion of the staff. Children are not permitted in the nursery if they have any of the following symptoms within 24 hours of the reservation: fever, open sores, chicken pox, severe cough, viral infection, eye infection, runny nose, colds, vomiting, diarrhea, wheezing or "pink eye".

Please bring prepared bottles, baby wipes and diapers for babies, and snacks or drinks for children. Parents must change dirty diapers before leaving to work out. The nursery does not potty train; pull up diapers are required.
