YOUTH FITNESS and HEALTHY LIFESTYLE PROGRAMS MUSC Kids Boot Camp (ages 9-13) This camp is a summer exercise and nutrition program. Kids Boot Camp is designed to help kids gain the knowledge, attitudes and skills to establish healthy eating and physical activity habits. Call for information – 792-4141 Summer Youth Membership (ages 15-17) Student summer memberships are available at MUSC Harper Student Wellness Center. The membership includes 3 mandatory exercise instruction sessions. Once the instructional sessions are successfully completed, the student will have access to the cardiovascular exercise area, pool, track, gymnasium, and aerobics studios. Children’s Swim Lessons for ages 6 weeks – 7 years Summer session starts June 14, 2007. Parents may sign up for 1 or 2 classes per week and may interchange afternoon and morning times. New children welcome anytime. Ultimate Tennis and Sport Camp 2008 This is the ninth year for the Summer Camp program at MUSC Harper Student Wellness Center. Youth Fitness Group Training (ages 13-14) Group supervised training is designed for small groups of adolescents who would like to learn how to safely exercise for strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. Exercise goals range from general fitness to competitive young athletes. Prices vary with number of participants and fitness trainer. For information call Janis Newton at 792-4141.
