Aikido

Aikido is a Japanese martial art that teaches self-defense in a totally noncompetetive atmosphere. It is believed that one can reach their highest level of development working with a partner not competing against them. This is a unique aspect of Aikido that makes it different from most other martial arts. The principles of Aikido teach relaxation and centering.
