When?
From January 1 to March 1, 2005
What can I do?
- Change your State ORP provider to AIG, CitiStreet, ING or TIAA/CREF
- Transfer existing account balances to your new provider without
a fee
- Change from State ORP to SCRS Defined Benefit Retirement Plan*
*State ORP participants who have a minimum of 12 months
but no more than 60 months of participation by March 1, 2005, may
also switch from State ORP to SCRS during the 2005 open enrollment
period.
What forms do I need to fill out?
- To change your State ORP provider to AIG, CitiStreet,
ING or TIAA/CREF
Complete a SORP
Notice of Termination or Change Form 1162.
- To transfer existing account balances to your new provider
without a fee
You will have to get in touch with the providers that you want
to switch from and to:
- To change irrevocably from State ORP to SCRS Defined
Benefit Retirement Plan
Complete Form
1100, Form
1102, Form
2101 and Form
2130 and attach a copy of your social security card.
