What can I do?
- Change your State ORP provider to AIG, CitiStreet, ING or TIAA/CREF
- Transfer existing account balances to your new provider without
a fee
- Change from State ORP to South Carolina Defined Benefit Retirement
Plan *
*State ORP participants who have 12 months of participation
by March 1, 2004, may also switch from State ORP to SCRS during
the 2004 open enrollment period. The 2004 open enrollment period
also provides a one-time opportunity for State ORP participants
with more than five years of service to irrevocable switch to SCRS.
This opportunity will not be offered in subsequent open enrollment
periods.
