Faculty recruitment should be coordinated through the Dean’s
Office of your respective college.
• Obtain all required approvals, to include:
- Dean/Chair/Department Head
- Financial Oversight Committee
• Post position for recruitment on-line
utilizing the PeopleAdmin applicant system.
• Faculty academic profiles received electronically by the
Hiring Manager and may be viewed by the Search Committee at any
time.
• Faculty candidates are selected for interview.
Interviews are scheduled and conducted.
• Hiring Manager identifies candidate “Recommended
for Hire” and completes “Post Hire Details.”
This is coordinated with Michael Vanderhurst, Equal Employment Oppurtunity/Affirmative Action Office, (Phone:
792-1282).
• Upon approval from the Office of Diversity, Hiring Manager
makes offer to candidate contingent upon successful
pre-employment requirements.
• Upon acceptance of the offer of employment, Hiring Manager
coordinates Appointment package, Credential package
and Billing information with respective areas. Hiring Manager also
coordinates pre-employment requirements and Orientation
(if benefits eligible).
• An original, approved PEAR form and approved
Request
for Exemption from Hiring Freeze form should be forwarded to
the Department of Human Resources Management, HR Operations / Records
Management, Room 102-K Harborview Office Tower.
• Pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements,
employee will complete the sign-up paperwork at
the Department of Human Resources Management, Room 105, Harborview
Office Tower.
