90 day Supplies of Prescription Drugs
Available at MUSC Pharmacies

Participants in the State Health Plan insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) and MUSC Options, recently received correspondence from Medco®, a prescription benefit management company, offering their services. In the letter, they mention a program titled My Rx Choices which suggests less expensive alternatives to medication you may be taking and promotes their mail order pharmacy for 90 day supplies of medications.

Please be aware that the MUSC Rutledge Tower Pharmacy, the MUSC Ashley Avenue Pharmacy and the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Pharmacy can also dispense a 90 day supply of medications at significant savings compared to the cost of filling three 30 day supplies of your prescription.

In addition, there are special co-payment rates for employees to lower the out-of-pocket prescription costs even more. Just a reminder, you have the option to ask your MUSC pharmacist to review your prescription profile and to identify less expensive alternatives, as well as, to discuss the benefits of a 90 day supply of medications.
