| Short-Term Housing for the Visiting Student If you are planning on visiting the Charleston area as a rotating student through one of our colleges, the Off-Campus Housing office can assist you in finding housing for the time you are here. Typically, short-term housing includes furnished rentals from a few days to three months. You can view the short-term housing listings on this website by clicking on "Housing Listings". While we provide basic information regarding the property, it is up to you to do the screening. Please keep in mind that because of the incredible demand for housing in the Charleston area, there are few single unit apartments for rent. A majority of the properties in our listing are rooms available for rent on a short-term basis. We also have a separate listing of Rooms for Rent, which is available.
