Dental Medicine Scientist Training Program
(DMSTP) dual DMD/PhD
This combined degree program is designed for outstanding students who wish to become dentist scientists and pursue a research career in an academic environment. The curriculum is typically completed in seven to eight years. Stipends of $23,000, and tuition paid by a Dean's Scholarship are also provided for D.M.D./Ph.D. students. Applicants to the D.M.D./Ph.D. Program must first complete an application via ADEA (formerly AADSAS) and then complete the Dental Medical Scientist Training Program application.
