++++RT PROGRAM NEWS++++

- Check the 2004 RT website (http://www.the-aps.org/education/2004rts/home.htm) for the following updates/additions:

= The Activity Development section is up and active. On it, you will find downloadable versions of many of the handouts from the Forum.

= Looking for links? Check out the Science Teaching Forum page for a link to a page of bookmarks we found on the lap tops.

- Speaking of lab/lesson development: If you haven't already, send your DRAFT into your Mentor. The Mentors are striving to get suggestions and comments back to you within a few days of receiving your draft, but remember they're starting school, too!. See the Mentor page for email addresses (http://www.the-aps.org/education/2004rts/mentors.htm).

- The next Assignment (#4) will be active September 7th on WISE. You should receive your packet in the mail a few days before that. Assignment #4 is all about gathering feedback on your draft Lab/Activity either through field tests or peer reviews. If your field test is scheduled in the next couple of weeks, you may want to take a look at the Field Test Notes/Peer Review forms on the Assignments page of the 2004 RT web site (http://www.the-aps.org/education/2004rts/assign.htm) to guide your planning.
